. On Teaching Feminist Theory
Teresa de Lauretis est une des plus notables théoriciennes
féministes contemporaines. Née en Italie, elle enseigne
depuis longtemps aux Etats Unis ; elle est actuellement professeur de
« History of Consciousness « , un programme interdisciplinaire
de doctorat à l´University of California, Santa Cruz,
Elle a enseigné la littérature comparée,
la sémiotique, « women's studies » et « film
studies » dans plusieurs universités américaines ,
ainsi qu´au Canada, en Allemagne, en Italie et aux Pays Bas. Ses
oeuvres ont été traduites en 14 langues , en Europe, Amérique
Latine et Asie.
Dès les premiers balbutiements de la revue Labrys
elle nous a fait confiance et y a publié plusieurs textes. Son
oeuvre est vaste et transite entre plusieurs domaines, notamment le cinéma
et la construction sociale du féminin, dont les catégories
de « eccentric subject », "expérience" et
de"technologies de production du genre" en sont les pierres
de touche au sein des théories féministes.
Pour notre 10ème anniversaire (20 numéros
parus), nous voulons ici la remercier de son appui et de son travail pour
l´approfondissement des théories critiques féministes.
